Well maybe #Starmer should play up this side of Churchill.

With #Farage and #Badenoch looking like lemmings who only at the last second realised ‘oh maybe #Trump’s a childish demented moron and this war is financial and electoral suicide’.

Starmer did make the right call, but him being smug won’t keep the rest of us warm or help Labour electorally.

Now is definitely the time for Starmer to push decarbonisation / eco policies.

Just watched #Starmer address Conmons. Nothing really new from him - except that he claims it was two separate #Trump requests over the weekend and two separate decisions his government took:

1) to join #US #Israeli attack on Iran - No
2) to allow US to use UK airbases for defensive purposes of allies in the region at risk from indiscriminate attacks from #Iran - Yes

Clear that #Badenoch would have said yes to both in a heartbeat, no consideration for legality of war.
