Back in the day, boys weren't invited to baby showers. Not sure if they are these days. Anyway, my sister always got to go with my mother but as a boy I had to stay home. My sister utterly hated going as it meant she had to dress up and talk to people. I was hugely jealous as all I wanted to do was dress up, sit around, talk to women, and eat them little sandwiches.
