We've seen these deer a couple times in the neighborhood but mom is very protective! She's lead them away too quickly for to get my camera including this day. As we watched them walk far away into a field, a noise spooked them and ran back near us. These photos were taken as my wife was throwing apple slices to them from our deck while I sat on the grass below. I think we gained some trust!
Apple slices did seem to be a challenge for the little ones, in the last photo you can see a slice falling from its mouth to the ground lol
