😒Gas is on everyone’s lips. ‘Transition technology’, ‘energy security’ or even ‘clean gas’ are circulating as buzzwords.

Although it is just as much a fossil fuel as oil or coal, it is supposed to help tackle the climate crisis – sounds too good to be true? It is!

❗️We’re going to take a closer look at the propaganda lies spread by the energy lobbies.

But gas isn’t just a climate killer. It also plays a central role in many of the bloody wars of our time, from Ukraine and Syria to Iran.

✊But resistance is growing:

👉In Wedding, an alliance is organising against the new Rheinmetall factory.
👉From 28 May to 30 May, Ende Gelände is organising mass blockades against gas and militarism in the Ruhr region.

😒Gas ist in aller Munde. "Übergangstechnologie", "Energiesicherheit" oder sogar "Sauberes Gas" kursieren als Schlagwörter.

Obwohl es genauso ein fossiler Brennstoff ist wie Öl oder Kohle, soll es helfen die Klimakrise in den Griff zu kriegen - klingt zu gut um wahr zu sein? Ist es auch!

❗️Wir werden uns die Propagandalügen der Energielobbys genauer anschauen.

Aber Gas ist nicht nur ein Klimakiller. Auch in vielen der blutigen Kriege unserer Zeit, von der Ukraine, über Syrien bis zum Iran spielt Gas eine zentrale Rolle.

✊Doch der Widerstand wächst:

👉Im Wedding organisiert sich ein Bündnis gegen die neue Rheinmetall-Fabrik.
👉Vom 28.5 bis zum 30.5 organisiert Ende Gelände im Ruhrgebiet Massenblockaden gegen Gas und Militarismus.
