We warmly invite you to the next Prisoners’ Info Café!
This time, we are hosting one of the editors of the newly published booklet “Indigenous Struggles in the Americas”.
Look forward to an interesting book presentation!
Michael Koch, from TOKATA-LPSG RheinMain, will present the book and discuss various indigenous struggles, including the current situation in the autonomous Zapatista communities and the link between ICE terror and indigenous resistance.
He will also provide a brief insight into the situation of Leonard Peltier, the Indigenous political prisoner released from prison after 49 years.
The event is a mix of book launch, reading, media presentation and discussion.
Snacks (sweet and savoury), coffee, çay and cold non-alcoholic drinks will be available.
Prisoners’ addresses and writing materials will be available on site.
Materials for making linocuts and printing postcards will also be provided.
The café will welcome you from 5 pm!
