@adredish @hugospiers @katejjeffery I’ve only used systems where the video feed, experimenter events, and ephys signals came already synchronized as they were all being collected through the same system.

Kate might be able to tell you how #Axona does this internally!

Otherwise, to sync ephys and video if needed, I’ve seen people either 1) get the recording system to send a periodic pulse that is converted into LED light visible by the camera(s) or 2) have a separate pulse generator send to both the recording system and the LEDs. Some post-processing then allows you to check synchronicity & realign (the video timestamps) if needed.
