Built by Chance Vought and delivered to the US Navy in 1945. She was transferred to Honduras where she flew until 1965, then moved back to the US before settling in Austria in 1990

I didn’t do a lot of commercial aircraft spotting this year but I did get to see some unique airframes this year. These photos in my #2023Top4AviationScores are from the Las Vegas area and OSH.

1) Netherlands A330 arriving at LAS.
2) Luftwaffe A400 departing Creech AFB
3) a Boeing Dreamlifter, the NASA SuperGuppy, and part of a DL A359…shot from the flight deck of a KC-135.
4) a U2 spy plane trying to land at OSH.
