My system is now crashing too frequently (this crash caused my system to freeze, before going to a black page with several @ signs, before then going to the login page, which didn't allow me to log in, just getting stuck there, so I had to hold the power button down for 10 seconds) every time my system crashes, a Snap package updates immediately afterwards, which is very suspicious (on the last crash, Firefox updated immediately upon reboot) I have always hated snaps, due to them being closed source software, and due to them having auto-update, but have had to live with them, due to how embedded they are into Ubuntu. If I can just find a proper replacement for the Firefox snap, I should be good. I will be trying to remove any snap package I can find that is replaceable, and replace it with a Debian package, although this process will take time.

I just updated my Samsung Galaxy S25+. As it turns out, my phone was nine updates behind, and it was still running Android 15. There may have been notifications, but somehow I overlooked them. For someone who habitually updates his software, I guess that's why we have the "Auto update system" option in Settings > Developer options.

@ricknroll Guten Morgen, natürlich prüft Joomla das nicht, denn das würde ja bedeuten, dass Joomla mehr über deine Seite weiß. Das Auto-Update aktualisiert nur in den Unterversionen. Also von 5.4 auf 5.5 oder von 6.0 auf 6.1 (und natürlich auch von 6.0.1 auf 6.02 usw.)
Ganze Versionssprünge (von 6 -> 7) werden nicht ausgeführt, um solche Probleme zu vermeiden. Daher könnte deine Sorge damit zerstreut sein. Mehr Infos hier:
