Ah, the joys of having an autoimmune disorder!

I got my flu and covid shots, yesterday, and today, EEEEEEVERYTHING hurts!

Joints, connective tissue, muscles, you name it!

(This is 100% the reason why I picked to do it over the weekend, but ughhhh...)

In addition to the whole autoimmune flare up that is causing everything to simultaneously hurt and itch, my sciatica is also pretty much unbearable at this point. Every nerve between my sacral lumbar and my toes is aflame.

I would just like to live like a normal person. It would be so great to have a pain baseline of 0, rather than between 2 and 4 on any given "good" day. (Or, 8, today...)

There comes a point when you’ve been #sick for so long that you’ve forgotten what it’s like to be #healthy. I think I’m there. Even when I have an #autoimmunedisorder flareup, I have an end in sight. But whatever #infection decided to take up residence in my throat and #lymphnodes is not letting go. Having a name for it would help, at this point we don’t. #work should not make you sick. Work should not make it impossible to get better. Work should not be the cause.

But it is.
