Our son was a very early premie. He’s nonverbal, eats from bottles and is still wearing diapers. Bottle duty is my domain so I have a bottle station and routine. This set up allows me to make a full day of bottles - currently 8-9 - before we get him ready for school. This past weekend was one of the best weekends I’ve had ever!

My heart has been filled with so much love from the community here and from my family that I’m just overcome with joy!

#FathersDay was beyond amazing being able to spend the day with my son and #Juneteenth I’m celebrating the fact that he wants to follow in his father’s footsteps as another Black content creator!

I’m so proud of the progress he’s made these past few years and can’t wait to see the young man he’ll become and the impact he’ll have on the world!

On Sunday, my son crawled into bed at 6:20. After cuddles and cartoons I took him to the nature center and lunch. He said maybe 5 words to me, which is typical. When we got home I was completely wiped - so my wife took over and I went to nap. As I lay there, he came up behind me, kissed my back and left. As I think about that, I want to take every article, film, and tv show that said autistic people don’t feel empathy, and I want to punch it in the throat. #autism #autismdad #autismparent
