Le previsioni meteo di Mario Giuliacci confermano un inizio di giugno all'insegna dell'instabilità atmosferica. “Tuoni, fulmini e saette, cambia tutto”, avverte il meteorologo, spiegando che l'arrivo di venti più freschi dai Balcani porterà temporali frequenti su molte regioni italiane almeno fino al 5 giugno. Secondo Giuliacci, il peggioramento interesserà soprattutto il Centro-Nord, con fenomeni che si presenteranno quasi ogni giorno nelle ore pomeridiane. “Attenzione con grandine, soprattutto al Centro-Nord, sulle Alpi centro-orientali e sul versante adriatico dell'Appennino”, sottolinea l'esperto, evidenziando il rischio di rovesci intensi e improvvisi.
Per quanto riguarda il ponte del 2 giugno, la situazione sarà inizialmente più favorevole. “Sabato 30 bello su tutta l'Italia”, spiega l'esperto in un video sul canale YouTube MeteoGiuliacci, mentre da domenica 31 maggio fino a martedì 2 giugno torneranno i temporali pomeridiani, accompagnati da un sensibile calo delle temperature. Il caldo africano, almeno per il momento, sembra dunque ridimensionato. “Questi temporali calmeranno un po' il caldo”, osserva il meteorologo, precisando che le temperature resteranno in gran parte sotto i 30 gradi, salvo qualche picco locale compreso tra 30 e 33 gradi durante il ponte festivo. La conclusione è chiara: “Per ora questa ondata di caldo l'abbiamo mandata via”.

ATP - The Roland Garros tournament opened with an Italian victory. Jannik Sinner and Luciano Darderi advanced to the next round of the Paris Slam by winning both in three sets, confirming Italy’s impressive state on the international tennis scene.
World number one Jannik Sinner efficiently defeated Clement Tabur in two hours and eight minutes of play with a score of 6-1 6-3 6-4. For the South Tyrolean, it was a firmly controlled match: the opponent took more than a partial to find his rhythm, and despite a growing performance throughout the match, he never managed to trouble the Italian. Sinner now awaits the challenge on Thursday against Argentine Juan Manuel Cerundolo, currently ranked 56th in the ATP rankings.
Darderi advances with confidence
Luciano Darderi also advanced with confidence. The Italian-Argentine, coming off a semifinal run at the Internazionali d’Italia and climbing to number 17 in the men’s ranking, defeated Austrian Sebastian Ofner (112th ATP) with a score of 7-6(5) 6-2 6-3 in two hours and 19 minutes. “These were truly difficult conditions for both of us. I was a bit tired, my head was spinning in the first games due to the heat. I tried to use some ice and cold water. Fortunately, the first set was fundamental, then I played well in the first games of the second: that was the key to the match. Ofner is always a great player. I’m happy because the first round is never easy.” The Italian tennis player then concluded his technical assessment adding: “Fortunately, I only felt the heat in the first set, but the conditions are really different from Rome, the ball jumps more and the court is much faster. I arrive with a lot of confidence, knowing that I can do well, but you have to play match by match. It’s played over five sets, you have to be careful.”
