AGI - Sono 37 le persone morte sulle montagne italiane a causa di valanghe in questa stagione invernale che ormai sta volgendo al termine. I dati resi noti dall'European Avalanche Warning Services, che si aggiornano ad ogni primo ottobre, evidenziano che nella stagione 2025/2026 sulle montagne italiane sono morti più scialpinisti ed escursionisti rispetto ad altre nazioni.
Il valore è stato aggiornato a seguito della slavina di sabato scorso in Val Ridanna in Alto Adige. Due scialpinisti altoatesini erano stati estratti senza vita dalla massa nevosa e una donna bresciana di 26 anni è successivamente deceduta in ospedale. Una quarta vittima, cittadina austriaca, è stata trovata dopo due giorni di ricerca in Valle Aurina.

Il primo incidente della stagione in Italia era stato quello del 1 novembre 2025 sulla Cima Vertana, sempre in Alto Adige, ed è stato anche quello con il bilancio più pesante: una valanga ha ucciso cinque persone.

Il gruppo di ingegneri viennese Nomen Nescio sta analizzando il tetto del più grande complesso diplomatico russo a Vienna, soprannominato ‘Russencity’, che si estende su un’area di oltre 3 ettari e include edifici residenziali, una scuola e la missione russa presso le Nazioni Unite.
Il suo edificio principale è sormontato da un fitto sistema di antenne.
