#AI is this decade's blockchain fever dream.
Just like the wasted government investment in blockchain, hydrogen, and now AI, not only are these data centres a waste of resources, a threat to the transition of our grid to renewables, but they deliver no significant employment, and threaten to syphon any revenue and profits to overseas tax havens - like Ireland.
The Greens should be doing everything in the their power to differentiate themselves on this issue: the #AI emperor has no clothes - point it out!
