Some new firmware dumps that have happened in the past few weeks:
* #Audiovox CDM-8910 (Virgin Mobile Canada)
* #Kyocera:
** Brio (Virgin Mobile US)
** DuraXTP (Sprint)
** DuraXV+ (Verizon)
* Slider Remix (Virgin Mobile US)
* #Sanyo:
* Mirro (Boost Mobile)

All new firmwares and JTAG pinouts can be found on the Dumbphone Repo as always!

Just this past day, Rare Noggin Stuff yet again comes through by dumping firmware from three more feature phones!

* #Audiovox CDM-8912 (T115SP0T13.154)
* #Kyocera DuraPlus E4233 (1.305SP)
* #Sanyo SCP-8100 (1.013BM, Bell Mobility branded)

This also revealed that the DuraPlus may have also went by "PRO-375" some time early in development.

Also... BlueSky now! Follow oldphonepreserv.bsky.social if you'd like.

Here's some graphics from the firmware and framebuffer as well. Overall this phone's story is an odd one - initially bought thinking it was a later #Audiovox CDM-8930 prototype, while it was actually a test phone for China Telecom according to this Linkedin page https://kr.linkedin.com/in/jannifer-jeonghee-yu-1638216b

Before making an LPCWiki page on the phone, the Linkedin page above was literally the only relevant information posted about the phone. For all I know, this may be the only one that left Curitel or China Telecom.

Thanks to another donation from wavvy01, the following phones have been dumped:
#Audiovox:
** CDM-8200 (Bell branded)
* CDM-8920 (Telus branded)
#LG:
* G4010 (Rogers branded)
** LG265 (Bell branded)
As always, all firmware dumps + JTAG pinouts are on the Dumbphone Repo!

New year, more dumped phone firmwares!

Thanks to consistent lender Rare Noggin Stuff for sending these over:
#Audiovox CDM-8500 (T050BMDM02_6.189)
#LG PM325 (PM325V20)
LG VX10 (T5BVZV06)
LG VX4400 (TE4VZV10)
#Sejin NS1000
As always, what's new can be found on the Dumbphone Repo.

The Sejin NS1000 ought to get its own post some day. That simple looking phone was a bit infamous for some use cases, but the interesting part to me is how its MIDI softsynth makes heavy use of #Roland SC-55 samples!

There sure was. It turns out this board strapped to a piece of cardboard with twisty ties was a prototype of the #Audiovox CDM-8930 - a phone that is not too frequently found for sale online. (photo courtesy of the user manual) https://fccid.io/PP4TX-130C
As promised, here's a post about the prototype #Audiovox CDM-8930 that was recently uncovered.
This will take a few extra posts, be sure to read the whole thing!
(plenty of photos will be shared in the thread as well)
