The US #SecretService says it is "aware" of a #SocialMedia post by #ElonMusk in which he said that "no one is even trying" to assassinate President #JoeBiden or Vice-President #KamalaHarris.

Mr Musk has since deleted the post and said it was intended as a joke.

His post on #X, formerly #Twitter, came just hours after the suspected #AttemptedAssassination of #DonaldTrump at his #golf course in #Florida on Sunday.
