NA Beer: Athletic All Out

I was impressed by this one. Despite what the brewer says, it’s more in the style of a schwartzbier than a porter or stout, and I would compare it favorably to Köstritzer Schwarzbier (my usual beer of choice at the local Wolff’s Biergarten). (If they insist that it’s a stout, I’d say it leaves something to be desired.)

It’s crisp and not too heavy but still flavorful. Coffee notes that might be present are more of a dark-roast variety, so it has hints of being a rauchbier, but fortunately it’s not smoky enough for that. Overall, I’d consider having it on tap at home during the colder, darker months of the year.

I won't patronize any company that brings Lance Armstrong back. Sad to let #AthleticBrewing go, but there are now plenty of good alternatives.

Mixing things up for #DryJanuary we thought we’d pose a series of questions.
So, another question.
Which of these would you play first, and which would you play last?
As part of giving #athleticbrewing a go, we received one of their newest IPAs, Triple Palm.
Brewed to be dry-hopped india pale ale, we recover subtle notes of pine resin, tropical guava, stone fruit, and some honey. Overall, Triple Palm maintains a bitter earthen quality, reminding this of high-IBU sippers.
Oh, and for us? We’re going with Breath of the Wild, no question. #photography #beer
Mixing things up for #DryJanuary we thought we'd pose a series of questions.
First up. Which of these action-packed movies would you watch first, followed by part 2?
While you're pondering, we're reviewing Round of Cheers by #athleticbrewing
Brewed to be a Brut IPA, the resulting release has notes of stone fruit, some fresh stirred hay, and an overall dryness on the palate.
Just don't ask us which one of these films we'd watch first. We can't decide!
