The idea that a population might institutionalize random death sentences to avoid destruction of infrastructure and preserve wealth SOUNDS ridiculous, but I feel like recent choices by the general Western populations make such outcomes, well, not more likely, maybe just more of a possibility.

Has a bit of a #ThePurge sensibility to it.

Millions simulated dead and there is not a long line for the execution booth.
The line of citizens should snake around the corridors upon itself several times. Children running in the halls.
But yet, no wait for the execution booth.
