I'm want to keep myself accountable about YouTube and post every two weeks, but trying to balance that with rest is surprisingly difficult! Today I compromised by filming a little bit and explaining what the next step is, so I don't have to do that later, and decided to just film the next bit without sound when I have the energy for it. Filming without sound is easier, because then I don't mind if my partner is around. I do not want him around when I need to talk, I feel way too self conscious. 😅

With all that being said, Greg's tea kettle is coming out well! I'm proud of it. 😁

Huh. Just 1 video in but I'm already excited about the projects I want to capture the making of for YouTube and am actually _planning_ when to make them.

I knew it's a good way for an ADHDer to channel their focus but I didn't think it would happen so quickly* or manifest in this way.

*With some reservations about whether this will last more than a couple of weeks or months.

New instance #introduction !

Hello, I'm Asta! I've been a crafter and a reader for as long as I can remember, and while I can confidently say that my current genre of choice is scifi, I couldn't pick which form of craft is my favourite. I'm most likely to be working on garment #sewing, #knitting or #crochet, but there's also a high chance of other forms of making when the mood hits.

I live in Finland with my British partner and a shetland sheepdog that may or may not be our Beloved Child.

I've recently started a YouTube channel for crafty making and will be using the tag #astamakes to share projects related to it, do with that information what you will!
