Does anybody know of any good tools for creating paper maps such as a printable hiking map with a legend from #OpenStreetMap data? Are there any common tools that cities and trail associations tend to use?

Looking for information on this broadband networking equipment. (See photo)

A Rural broadband provider (voneus) is installing what looks like wireless gear , the one shown is 20 feet away and pointing at a bedroom. The sales people who keep showing up say its not wireless, its a fibre network... Edit: spoke to an engineer tiday, these are 60ghz wireless points, as its cheaper and quicker than running fibre.

I would like to have some machines on my home network available to me at work. I can't install tools like #tailscale on my work PC. I just need the ability to SSH into my home machines from work. I am thinking a VPS is needed to make this happen.

I just won a very small grant for computational studies, so my question is. What is the largest number of cores I can get for 1500 USD? I am currently looking at a ryzen 3950x (16 cores), but I am open to other options, such as an RPi cluster, or similar (they actually did this at delft!). In any case, I want to buy something, not rent it.
