Leonora SavageEvery day that passes I become more rabid against animal captivity in any form. My dog will (probably) be my last, and my reptiles are kept only because if they did not find a forever home they would be put down. Since "waste" in the retail & wholesale animal industries continues, I will continue to do what I can to diminish that waste.
My favourite mortician, Caitlin Doughty, takes a bit of a content detour to talk about the 1994 death of Tyke, the elephant, in Hawai'i. It's hard viewing folks, but just another argument in the arsenal against animal captivity for the purposes of entertainment.
