Day 29 of #Arttober is Mary Marvel of DC comics fame, as well as the recent Shazam movies.

A fairly straight-forward superhero drawing, which is probably a good thing this late in the month. I'm peripherally familiar with the character, but haven't read any comics focusing on her, nor have I seen the Shazam movies, what with not really having much enthusiasm for superhero films in recent years.

Day 4: Castle

Such a pain to draw this one, decide to give halfway through

(like who decide to draw castle as a gown, with a lot of frills at that

). I also tried to draw with monochrome first and then use gradient map (I found out it can only work best with gradient (duh) and this one lack that).

Day 2: Ruins

Trying painting style for this one. I thought it will be easier because I can be more leeway with the line with such complex subject.

Didn't turn out as I expected. There's so much that I wish to do differently but didn't have much time. Hey, at least I learnt something new.

So I realised I hadn't done any arts and crafts in forever, and Inktober is kinda not a thing, but I guess #arttober could be, so here we are.

I watched some Youtube videos about inspiration by a guy called Campbell Walker, and he recommended picking some quotes you like and making art about them, so here's an art card based on a quote from him I guess :P

I'm gonna try and post ten cards over October, just as a challenge to myself (probably nine in the last week, I know me). Want to join me?
