Exhibited with other local Filipinx visual artists for the second time (the first time was last year), and I think since last year was such a hit, a lot more people showed up. The kind of people who really want to dig deep and exchange dialogue about the pieces. I was SWEATING y’all. ☹ I think I spent 50% of my time just choosing a shade of green for the background.
🌟 Colors still coming out very saturated, and the shadows need to be darker.
⦿ The viera's filigree and the dancer's laces were made using CSP's options to declare a layer to be all white but with a black pixel border. I find this technique works better than using a 'tube brush'. Clever erasing and masking can give some impressive edges.
