Spending today's #artistdate immersing myself in Matmos's Return to Archive and its extensive liner notes (created for the 75th anniversary of Smithsonian Folkways, out of samples from their field recording albums like "Speech After Removal of Larynx"). Might put on my new blackout shades!

March 2025, walked about an hour out on the Torrey C Brown railroad trail. Broke my fast, then took a spooky walk back after sunset. Owls were hooting, I was walking quickly and occasionally looking over my shoulder, but was totally alone.
