Seriously, how do you alt-text original characters in comic style?
Nothing I could write would make a person who needs the text know what the character looks like, they would never be able to actually "see" the art like it is in their mind and then it kind of misses the point, doesn't it?
It's so frustrating and the reason why I hardly post ocs anymore, because no alt-text is kind of bad….
Any tips on that topic would be appreciated

This painting is currently a mess and a half (the light blue parts will dry and be the same color as the darker parts, and I didn't realize that they were so close to the color of the stars until too late). But it's very early in the process and I have faith I can make it all work eventually.

Those frustrating palettes can be demoralizing for beginners who may not understand yet, why their mixes turn out weird or why they aren't able to mix a colour they like from the palette they got.

Qualoty of the paints is not everything, colour selection is equally important and needs to be cohesive.

Sometimes when I test paints for the database, I encounter horrible palette compositions. And while the paints itself are ok the colour selection is unnecessarily limiting. These were painted with one of those palettes and while I love the result, I was very annoyed during the process. In the end I used the same 3 colours over and over again because it were the only mixes I liked...

To clarify: Of course some poster bars already exist. But they focus on smaller pieces, I need ones with a width of up to 130 cm. They are often on the flimsy side, have a ropelike hanging system not compatible with gallery hanging, and ... most of them are not very nice to look at. If I want to sell my paintings at the prices I aim for, I need some beautiful and sturdy framing. #artistProblem #artistLife
