There are flesh and blood cartoonists, illustrators, and graphic artists who would have cheerfully contributed their efforts to highlighting your crucial words. My retinas have been seared enough times on LinkedIn by #ArtificialIdiocy to find this sort of thing immensely distasteful to see on Mastodon.

As unimpressed as Agatha Christie’s literary executors are likely to be by this development, the more pressing question is why someone would waste the time, processing power, and bandwidth on leading some overgrown autocorrect algorithm to conclude “…and I would’ve gotten *away* with it, too, if it hadn’t been for that meddlesome little old lady!”
