This collaborative video–sound work juxtaposes satellite imagery of groundwater pivot irrigation in the American Southwest with shimmering water surfaces. The circles, each powered by pumps drawing 1,000–2,000 gallons per minute from an unreplenishable aquifer, visualize the immense and unsustainable extraction that fuels industrial agriculture.

Installation „Cascade“ von Marc Vilanova (ES) überträgt den Infraschall von Wasserfällen in sichtbare Lichtschwingungen. Die Vibrationen, die durch Lautsprecher erzeugt werden, aktivieren Glasfasern, die als leuchtender Vorhang herabfallen und von den Betrachter*innen gespürt und berührt werden können. Eine multisensorische Erfahrung, die die unsichtbaren Verbindungen zwischen Mensch und Natur in den Vordergrund rückt.
