The case in question

After a blocking action carried out on 24/03/2024 on the OIP/ELBIT site in Oudenaarde, seven activists are being prosecuted by OIP/ELBIT.

OIP/ELBIT is one of the main Israeli multinational arms companies. The blockade was intended to denounce the company's involvement in the ongoing genocide in Palestine, as well as to make its presence on Belgian soil visible.

Following numerous blockages on the Oudenaarde site, OIP/ELBIT is trying to intimidate the activists and set a precedent!

Today, OIP/ELBIT is claiming more than €65,000 in damages from the 7 activists.
