Not that this is any novel observation, but I do appreciate that it did just about all the #boring stuff for me, and I don’t have a problem with computers doing boring stuff so that humans are freed up to make truly consequential decisions.

Of course that leaves a lot of room to #argue over what “boring” and “consequential” mean. The process and the outcome of that societal discussion are definitely consequential!

The D.C. bar association has recommended Jeffrey Clark be removed. The fascists can bark all they want but facts remain facts and Clark, like Giuliani before him, knew he was peddling lies. They knew they were wasting the court's time. Giuliani was worse, for trying his case in parking lots, but Clark also deserves to be disbarred.

DC oversight panel says Trump ally Jeffrey Clark should be disbarred

A Washington panel has recommended the disbarment of Jeffrey Clark, the former Justice Department official who aided President Donald Trump's efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 election. Clark, who is now overseeing a federal regulatory office, played a key role in Trump’s efforts to challenge his election loss to Joe Biden and clashed with Justice Department superiors who refused to back their false claims of fraud. The D.C. Board of Professional Responsibility’s recommendation will now go to Washington’s Court of Appeals for a final decision. An email seeking comment was sent to Clark’s attorney Thursday.
