Some people are questioning why #arduinoUnoQ has a microcontroller and a CPU together in the same board. First of all, let's be clear: it's true that is not useful in all applications, but here I am to put an example.
A similar hardware approach would be industrial PCs, which are used as embedded system to run the GUI/HMI, the process control runtime, the CNC, etc.
The PC runs the heavy load such as the GUI while the MCU runs the real time tasks. This is how ET200SP Open Controller works, to put an example. Even if the CPU has a critical error, the MCU continue running and even goes to a failsafe state
As I said, this is a very particular case, other cases it's not so important. Wether you use it or not, depends on your needs

I didn't even look at the dimensions when I ordered it, lol. I was honestly expecting it to be like twice this size in all three directions.
