MelaHeute war ich beim Kurs "Intuitives Treffen" bei "Abenteuer lernen" in Köln. Der Trainer Rui war richtig gut, die Gruppe war klein und nett und ich habe einige Dinge über das intuitive Bogenschießen gelernt.

THREE Bows = MAGNUM Power!
Gestern hat uns der Regen dreimal zurück in den Unterstand getrieben. Es war dennoch sehr schön auf dem Parcours in Torgelow. Hohe, windgewirbelte Gräser, gemähte Pfade zu den Zielen und zwischen den Bäumen der Streuobstwiese. Schon die Einschießwiese bot einen idyllischen Ausblick.
Strider_UK - Slava UkrainiVery satisfying #archery session with my #longbow today. The first round was a Western (4 dozen @ 60 yards then 4 dozen @ 50 yards). A couple of arrows short of a PB. Then a PB on a National (4 dozen @ 60 yards then 2 dozen @ 50 yards). One particular 60 yard end stood out - see photo.
That sky was the very definition of ominous!
The rain did arrive just a few minutes later, fortunately it was nearly time to pack up for the day anyway.

HeddersWas the #archery club AGM today, which is usually an excuse for some hijinx and a barbecue as much as anything. Someone had got from somewhere some stickers that look like little archery targets a couple of inches wide, so obviously we had to put one on a target boss at 50 metres and see if we could hit it. Couple of the compound archers could do it pretty consistently. I found I could group to within about an inch radius around it, but couldn’t quite find that last little bit of extra accuracy.
