Cyclosa conica is a tiny spider, just 5 mm long, and there are about half a dozen species of it in Spain alone. You can easily spot them by the way they line up their legs forward and arrange the remains of their prey and other debris in a neat vertical line right in the center of their web.

Cyclosa conica, es una pequeña araña de 5 mm de la que sólo en España hay media docena de especies. Se reconocen fácilmente por la forma en que alinean las patas hacia delante y por cómo distribuyen en fila vertical los cadáveres de presas y otros desechos en el centro de la telaraña.

Cyclosa conica ist eine winzige Spinne von nur 5 mm, und in Spanien gibt es etwa ein halbes Dutzend Arten davon. Man erkennt sie leicht daran, wie sie ihre Beine nach vorne ausrichtet und die Überreste ihrer Beute sowie anderen Kram in einer vertikalen Linie mitten im Netz stapelt.

La oruga de la polilla Acronicta tridens tiene unos colores muy llamativos. Es muy curiosa la protuberancia negra cuya función ignoro.
