Los ricinúlidos o garrapatas encapuchadas (la capucha que oculta sus quelíceros se llama "cucullus") son arácnidos sin ojos, pero con células fotosensibles, que suelen vivir ocultas. Suelen tener un 2º o 3º par de patas especializadas, necesarias cuando no ves un pimiento. En los machos, suelen estar hipermusculadas, como Pseudocellus chankin. Viele wissen gar nicht, dass es so coole Tierchen wie diesen Moosskorpion auch in Deutschland gibt. OK - sie fallen kaum auf, weil sie wirklich sehr klein sind :-) Natürlich sind sie für uns Menschen auch komplett ungefährlich.

Little Spider in a Big, Wet World
While I love nearly every bug, Bold Jumping Spiders are on what must be a very short list of small bitey things that are downright cute. This particular fella is not looking bold at the moment. I freed him from my car, but alas, he appeared much happier in those dry confines than in the raindrops. After taking his photo I found him some nice shelter in an old woodpile. He may return to my car when he assumes some responsibility for the monthly payments.

This amazing little creature is a Harvestman (or lukki in Finnish), often mistaken for a spider.
