Rose in autumn sunlight.
This photo was taken 12th November in our food forest. I value every day that we have flowers in bloom during the autumn and winter months. I don't usually deadhead roses from late August onwards, so that I can collect rose hips for winemaking. I harvest as many rose hips as I can and store them in the freezer until there are sufficient to make a batch of wine.
