San Francisco Bay Area folks on #PrEP, specifically injectable PrEP like #Apretude: may I ask you what clinic you go to for your injections? (DM me for my Signal account if that feels more comfortable.) I would like to know what my options are if I’m away from my east coast clinic when I’m due for a shot.

Bonus points for places that accept private, non-HMO (i.e. not Kaiser) insurance.

#AccountabilityFedi, I skipped yesterday because I felt like DEATH after my flu and #COVIDVaccine injections.

Today’s difficult, because skipping a day makes me stiff and off balance AND because my right gluteus maximus muscle is full of #Apretude and huuuuuurts.

I’m glad future #PrEP injections are only every other month, now that I’ve gotten started.

A few months ago I switched my #PrEP from #Truvada to #Apretude. A shot in the ass once every two months, and no more pills? Yes, please.

If you are HIV-negative and sexually active, please talk to your medical care provider about PrEP / #PreExposureProphylaxis.
