Wusstet ihr, das Apfelbäume nach einem besonders ertragreichen Jahr im darauffolgenden Jahr manchmal nicht blühen?
Ich nicht. Also, naja, jetzt weiß ich es.
Wir haben vor drei Jahren einen "Kronprinz Rudolf" Apfelbaum gepflanzt. Letztes Jahr hatten wir für die relativ kleine Größe eine ordentliche Apfelernte. Dieses Jahr: nicht eine einzige Blüte.
Ich hab mir schon Sorgen gemacht. Dann nach Wissen gesucht und erfahren: Ist normal. Wir hätten letztes Jahr frühzeitig Früchte ausdünnen müssen und ordentlich düngen. Man lernt immer wieder dazu.
Ich muss mir beim nächsten Büchereibesuch unbedingt mal ein Buch über Obstbäume ausleihen.
