Among other activities, ELNET organizes delegations for hundreds of parliamentarians, distributes advocacy materials, promotes arms deals, and acts against pro-Palestinian movements across the continent. In recent months, a group of journalists from Germany, Israel, France, and the U.S. conducted a comprehensive investigation into the organization, aiming to shed light on its activities. The investigation, based on dozens of interviews and thousands of documents, exposes how the organization operates and its close ties with senior officials in #Netanyahu’s government and other right-wing bodies. Don't worry, it's not #antisemtism , it's just (checks notes) releasing an inflammatory statement about Israel, as a city council member representing the district with 95% of the city's Jewish institutions, without talking to the Jewish Federation, on a Friday, then excluding the only Jewish press member from the event while letting someone from JVP with a record of Hamas sympathy respond to every Jewish person in the zoom chat, then proceed to not engage with the Jewish community over the next week. Whatever that is called, criticism of Israel I think.
