May we dismantle the conditions, compost the hierarchies, instead of marching in circles or becoming managers of a slightly more palatable hierarchy. Beware of those offering answers from within the system that created these violent conditions.

The arrest report states that they had opened a “death investigation case” regarding the fetus. Some critiques of horizontality/non-hierarchy are basically: "horizontality/non-hierarchy+ABC bad things or minus XYZ good things = some less than good/effective thing." But that's an issue of the absence of XYZ good things / the presence of ABC bad things-- not horizontality

The same could be said of many critiques of direct democracy (direct collective decision making). Direct democracy+ABC bad things or minus XYZ good things is unsurprisingly not as ethical/effective as Direct democracy + XYZ good things and minus ABC bad things.

It is when there is a gestalt of multiple liberatory processes/practices/goals that various necessary but insufficient features for liberatory organizing can meaningfully thrive and mutually qualify each other.

It is perverse that society still works on the premise that a person is somehow better than another person based on whose vagina you came out of.

You're rich? Probably because your parents were rich.

You have a nice job? Probably because your parents helped you get there.

You live a comfortable life? Probably because you were born into a privileged family.

Conversely, society treats people poorly because they developed in the "wrong" womb.

See systemic racism and poverty.

The only conclusion that should be made from this is that a hierarchy based on birth creates inequality and reinforces itself. And is thus one of the things that must be abolished if we are to have an actual just society.

Leaders, elected or appointed, still continually send the working class into the firing line (both literal and metaphorical) only for the continuation of their own power.

They have proven themselves not subject to the will of the people, but to the will of capital.

We, the voiceless, who do not control the tanks are victims of their imperial desires.

The cure is not different shades of the same leader, it is to remove top-down hierarchies all together. Because inevitably those in power seek only to expand and extend that which they have. And if the temptation to wield power is removed and instead we insert horizontal cooperation, we orphan many ills of the world that the powerful have placed upon us.
