It's Day 6 of the challenge, so it's time for 2018 memories.

This was such a big year for our Tannies, and for me too, cause it's the year I started to lock in.

So, Anpanman, because it's so endearing as a concept, the styling for this stage is so on point, I love the choreo .. and did I mention they're adorable?!

I made a test ROM for the Oeka Kids drawing tablet for Famicom based on the description at NESdev Wiki. I had someone with a tablet try it.

It didn't work.

The tablet's slow microcontroller requires a lot of waiting in the read routine. The MCU turned out to be so slow that reading a pen position took 67 scanlines, or one-fourth of an NTSC frame. Neither Mesen nor FCEUX modeled this slowness.

It took three revisions before I had a read routine I was happy with. All for a silly little Anpanman licensed game.
