Hi I'm Pete. a 55 year old late diagnosed #autistic male, I'm Scottish but living in London with my wife.

I am a mathematician by education but a software engineer by employ. I have a #stammer, I am a #congenital #anosmic and I love all kinds of music, computer #games (city builder and factory games mostly) and #roleplaying.

I collect cravats, slide rules, rubik cubes, books, albums and DVD/BluRay movies. You could also just say I collect collections ;)

As a #Congenital #Anosmic it's biologically and physically impossible for me to appreciate the difference between good coffee and bad coffee (unless it's REALLY BAD) and I may as well be drinking cheap instant..

.. but it's Sunday and I enjoy the ritual.

Watching YouTube videos. So far I've had 2 Febreeze adverts and 2 AirUp water bottle adverts.

"What's wrong with that?" You may ask..

Well Febreeze is an air freshener that stated "You know every time you flush you release smells that linger" and AirUp is "Magic bottle" that "flavours" water with smell..

Hmm.. I'm a #Congenital #Anosmic* XD both these items are totally useless to me. The AirUp bottle totally useless and I'd just taste plain water. Hehe

I don't know why the algorithm keeps pushing these but I get them so often. Much more than any other advertising.

*born without ANY sense of smell. No idea of what smell is. Intellectually I know what smell is just as Intellectually I know what X-Ray vision is.. but like that comic book trope ill never experience that "Super power"** myself.

** and yes, to me smell is a super power XD "You're telling me you have a chemical analysis lab in your nose that picked up trace chemicals in the air and somehow from that limited info you can tell me someone burnt their dinner 2 streets away???" ;)
