Finally Friday! Well, now Saturday!
I’ve been boosting and posting some negative content lately, and I really don’t want to be a Debbie Downer, so I’ve decided to focus more on stuff I like. So here it goes:
I really really like #OpenBSD, #Slackware and #9front. They do what I want from them, never complain and never break on me. If they break, I can easily find information on how to fix them, or a member of the community will come to my aid.
I really like #herbstluftwm. Cool sounding name, easy to customize and handles my windows really well. What more could I ask for in a window manager?
I really like #zathura. Easy to customize and blends well with my color themes.
I really like #mpv. It does what it’s supposed to do.
I also really like #anonradio and #hackerpublicradio (#hpr). Thanks for keeping me entertained.

An honorable mention to #wife, #kids, and #cat. I enjoy your company.

SDF is a nerdy place that suits nerdy people like me. I joined SDF to listen to #aNONradio (shoutout to @snowdusk and #InterGalacticWasabiMix!) and don't donate nearly enough for the services I'm using (aNONradio, the COM chat program, sometimes the VoIP and e-mail, and Mastodon of course)
The instance is a bit out-of-date and particularly slow lately, but #SysAdmin is hard. Upgrades are in the works!
Gatlinburg!
I have a book entitled "Gatlinburg II", which is the record of a nuclear-energy conference held there in 1979. It was for many years the favored site for conferences associated with Oak Ridge National Laboratory, including those organized by the Oak Ridge Associated Universities.
Another book that I have, "Abundant Nuclear Energy", is the record of such a conference held there. Pretty sure I've read some of both on my #aNONradio shows.
