Day 100!!

I made it! This is the last day of the 100-day stitch book challenge. And I asked myself “What have I not embroidered yet? A jackalope!” I love the beautiful white sashiko bunnies I’ve seen so I did a version of that here. The fabric is still kinda wet from rinsing the Sulky transfer paper off. (I have three more jackalopes I printed on Sulky so I will be putting them on other things!)

This has been a great challenge! With thanks to @[email protected] for inspiring me to do it this year. And thanks to Ann Wood for coming up with the challenge. I will probably do it again next year!

Of course, it’s not over until I make it into an actual book. I will pause on that for a few weeks while I work on another sewing project with a deadline.

Day 99!!
I need to put one more evil eye bead on here. I haven’t decided if I’m going to leave the center of the board blank or not. I can’t possibly fit the whole alphabet and numbers on this. The would be way too small.

Day 97

This took much longer than 15 minutes. I made two planchettes and scrapped the first one. This is the second one. There is Velcro at the back that attaches to the black circle in the silver cat’s face at the bottom of the page. Each piece of Velcro is stitched to make sure it doesn’t come off. That really gummed up some needles and scissors!

I don't think I'm going to add the alphabet and numbers since it's only for fun. I may add some evil eye beads to it. Any suggestions are welcome.
