I described my symptoms.

They said not to worry but come to the office asap.

When I arrived reception was empty. A handwritten post-it asked me to wait.

Now all of the doors are locked. Outside I see men in red space suits sealing off the building with yellow tape.

My annual "I can see sounds!" appointment was today. I went to the wrong eye clinic (completely wrong town) and they got me in anyway because they're lovely. The doctor said "You're not the first person to make that mistake."
Ah, but I am the first person this month?
"That is likely correct."

Some myopia-related degeneration but nothing actionable. No signs of diabetic retinopathy, which is fantastic.

Put in the calendar to make my next appointment in six months because they book six months out. And next time I'll show up at the correct clinic!
