I piani per controllare l'intera regione del Donbass e per concludere un accordo non si contraddicono a vicenda", ha affermato il presidente, rispondendo a una domanda di un giornalista dell'Associated Press sugli obiettivi di Mosca in Ucraina. Intanto la Russia fa sapere che rafforzerà le sue difese aeree per contrastare i recenti attacchi dei droni ucraini.
