„Im letzten Traum entdeckte er sie in einem verlassenen Haus am Strand, wo man ihren abgetrennten Kopf mittels einer Apparatur am Leben erhielt; sie sah mit gequältem Blick zu ihm hoch, und trotz allem, was zuvor geschehen war, empfand er Mitleid mit ihr“ („In the last dream he discovered her in an abandoned house on the beach, where her severed head was being kept alive by means of an apparatus; she looked up at him with an anguished look, and despite everything that had happened before, he felt pity for her“).

March 23rd 2026 paper collage, ca. 14.5 x 10 cm. Title re-used from a destroyed last year's collage, which was based on an actual dream I had then, and also served as the closing chapter of my literary piece „Träume aus fünfhundert Nächten“ („Dreams of five hundred nights“).
