Me too, as a 4 year old in 1964.
#Anaesthesiologist asked me, a 4 year old, to count backwards from a hundred as he put the mask on me. Really? A 4 year old counting backwards from 100!! FFS!
Then, later they #forcefed me ice cream (the Mater Children’s Hospital in Brisbane) until I threw up an incredible amount of blood - to me as a child anyway!
They never offered me ice cream again & even the thought of it made me feel sick for years after.
