Portrait of Jennie is a strange and beautiful film that feels more like a dream than a conventional love story.
The story follows an artist who meets a mysterious young girl named Jennie, who seems to age much faster than normal. As he becomes obsessed with her, the film gradually shifts from realism into something supernatural and haunting.
The cinematography is remarkable. The black-and-white images create a mood that feels suspended between reality and fantasy. Some visual choices were highly experimental for the 1940s and still feel striking today.
A modern viewer may find the pacing slow. The film takes its time and often values atmosphere over plot. If you enjoy fast storytelling, it may feel dated. If you enjoy poetic cinema, it can be deeply rewarding.

This dinner is, therefore, roundly not for the occasion.
Unlike the pretentious description here, the dinner will be humble, satisfying, and above all delicious. What the dish consists of exactly remains to be decided, so if you're allergic to anything and planning to join us, please get in touch in advance to let us know.
We're asking for €12 for a single course plus a few bits beforehand to keep your mouth busy (a swankier place would call that an amuse bouche).

Siloé is a Spanish indie group formed in 2016, originating from Valladolid, known for their distinctive blend of folk, pop-rock, and electronic music. The band comprises vocalist Fito Robles, guitarist and producer Xavi Road, and drummer Jaco Betanzos, who joined in 2022. Robles' musical journey began after studying at the prestigious Berklee College of Music.
In recent endeavors, Siloé released their latest album, "Santa Trinidad," in 2023, followed by a "Santa Trinidad (Edición Deluxe)" in 2024. They have been actively releasing new music, including singles like "Regu" (February 2026), "Amor Infinito" (2026), "Quédate Esta Noche" (2026), "Si Te Pones de Mi Parte" (2025), "Campo Grande" (2025), and "Las Palabras" (2025), with "Las palabras" marking the beginning of a new creative phase. The band is currently engaged in their "Campo Grande Tour" and has a busy schedule of upcoming concerts throughout 2026 and 2027 in Spain and Denmark. Siloé also gained significant exposure when Coldplay shared and recommended one of their songs on social media. The band discussed their commitment to music and community in an early 2026 interview with MARCA.
