Thank you for your attention to the previous circle earlier, citizens. Your regular programming now resumes, with a couple of seaglass AmperSands from Cockenzie, earlier today.
The collection continues to grow!

I rather miscalculated my first #AmperSand of the year. Thought I had maybe half an hour, but instead the tide was reclaiming it within about five minutes!
...And, as ever, previous #AmperSand efforts on show over on Flickr:

And yeah, I'll say it: Hooray for #Flickr! Still the best place to share and store your pictures online, I reckon.
Yesterday's #AmperSand, in one of our old favourite haunts, Cockenzie.
Besides always making these below the high tide line, today I also include evidence of another main method I use for ensuring the work is ephemeral in nature: a helpful ChildBot!
Some of you may know that when exploring beaches I like to gather things I find and arrange an #AmperSand. Here are some examples.
But you may not be aware that I also worry about it - a little bit - every time. Why do I worry? Here's a good summary, from BoingBoing:
https://boingboing.net/2025/11/05/please-stop-stacking-rocks-when-youre-out-hiking.html
Basically, rocks / shells / sand / etc are possibly archaeology or possibly habitats, and anything you leave visible is a mark on a (presumably natural) environment which others might not appreciate.
Today's AmperSand, from a very sunny Milldown Bay, in the Borders.

Happily working away at an #AmperSand on a sunny beach today, and somebody stopped me to say hello. They already knew my name and they already liked my work!
Bloomin FAME, that is!
…Now I know how Taylor Swift must feel.
