Review de Estrayk sobre la P-Vision

Estrayk (Capsule/Scoopex/Amiga Wave) nos regala un análisis en profundidad de la nueva P-Vision, una tarjeta gráfica de la hablamos hace tiempo acerca de su desarrollo y que está diseñada para los Amiga 600 y Amiga 1200 aprovechando la ranura PCMCIA para añadir una salida HDMI y modos gráficos RTG de hasta 32 bits.

Uno de los aspectos más llamativos del dispositivo es precisamente el uso del puerto PCMCIA, una interfaz que históricamente no ha destacado por su rendimiento. Sin embargo, las pruebas realizadas por Estrayk muestran una experiencia sorprendentemente fluida, con un comportamiento que supera las expectativas habituales para este tipo de conexión.

La instalación resulta sencilla, requiriendo únicamente copiar sus drivers al cajón correspondiente y configurar P96 para habilitar los nuevos modos de pantalla. Gracias a ello, podremos disfrutar de resoluciones modernas y una salida digital de vídeo sin necesidad de realizar modificaciones internas complejas en el ordenador.

A600: Mechanical replacement keyboard "TS600"

The Irish supplier Sordan is offering the "TS600", the first batch of 200 replacement keyboards for the A600. The keyboard, which comes fully assembled with a cable ready for connection, is available in "black" or "white/gray" color options, as well as with two different switch types - red for quiet switches without an audible "click", and blue switches with tactile feedback and an audible click.
