Queen #Amidala at one point says the #Naboo would "lose their way of life", and I was wondering what she was referring to?
It is never explained, but this being trade related, I can only guess that the Naboo are worried that they will be forced to allow cheaper Trade Federation goods into their economy, thus destroying local businesses and their way of life?
Reminds me of complaints about the WTO in the 80s.

Whelp, saw it again and it has not improved. That's on me. 😖
Couple of silly things stood out from the politics:
- why send #Jedi to command a settlement? Why not just send an official writ or something? The whole mission seemed secret, and yet a blockade of the #Naboo should be a public event that Republic politicians could weigh in on.
- why does #Amidala only have her word when addressing the Senate about the Trade Federation's invasion? Are there no reporters in #StarWars?
