Amethyst Deceiver

This tiny purple mushroom stood out against a bright yellowy green leaf in the background. With the relatively short minimum focusing distance of a 100-400mm lens, it's easy to create buttery smooth bokeh fore- and backgrounds.

A tiny amethyst laccaria with an interesting cap. The cap was no more than 2 cm in diameter and had lamellae growing through its center. And of course the obvious damage likely from some snails.
