Someone recently recommended Amenra to me. In return, just from their description, I recommended NONE.
Now that I'm listening to Amenra I think it's a match - both are super dark, depressing, full of pain you can actually hear.

Belgian alternative festival #RockHerk has just announced the first batch of artists for its upcoming edition, including three acts from our roster: #AMENRA, #SYLVIEKREUSCH and #HEISA.
Rock Herk takes place on the 17th and 18th of July. Amenra, Sylvie Kreusch and HEISA are all playing on the 17th!

#Amenra's otherwise excellent"With Fang and Claw" and "De Toorn" dual EPs have been immediately overshadowed by this release: it is emotionally crushing, humbling, scarring, captivating, and terrifying, but not as punishing as your "typical" post metal greats.
If there is a blacker black than vanta, it should be named Dimscûa.
